Jessica Krantz has been appointed the new CFO of the contract manufacturer of electronics and electro­me­chanics Orbit One. Jessica takes up her duties on 1 August, replacing Joakim Bengtsson who will be enjoying his well-deserved pension time starting from the second quarter of 2024.

Orbit One, the contract manufacturer of electronics and electro­me­chanics, is strengthening its Board of Directors through the appointment of two new, experi­enced board members. Cecilia Böhm and Anders Birgersson both have long and extensive experience of working with inter­na­tional companies and will be important additions to the team at Orbit One, which is currently Sweden’s most progressive contract manufacturer and a leader in efficiency optimi­sation, digita­li­sation and Lean manufacturing.

Spectrum Technology is a leading provider of automation solutions, speci­a­lising in the design and imple­men­tation of automated systems that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall perfor­mance for a wide range of industries.

DevPort AB (publ) (“DevPort” or the “Company”) has signed a framework agreement with Orbit One AB, the contract manufacturer of electronics and electro­me­chanics. The agreement relates to consulting services in areas such as product development, production development and digital solutions.

In the beginning of November, Orbit One, the Swedish contract manufacturer of electronics and electro­me­chanics, passed SEK 1 billion in sales, which equates to an increase of more than 25 percent compared to the same period last year.

The cell has been specially designed on behalf of a large Swedish industrial company in order to manufacture identi­fi­cation and trace­a­bility solutions with built-in analy­tical tools.

After the summer, the finalists will receive a visit from the Lean Prize Committee and then the Lean Forum board will appoint the winner of the Swedish Lean Award 2022.

The Swedish medical technology company Airsonett has chosen contract manufacturer Orbit One as its partner for parts of its production. Airsonett develops and markets medical devices used for treatment of patients with severe allergic asthma and eczema. Airsonett’s TLA treatment gives the patient clean air in the breathing zone during the night, that is 99.5% free from particles and allergens, thus allowing the patient’s airways and immune system to rest and recover. The treatment is prescribed by speci­alist physi­cians and is subsi­dised by the healt­hcare system. Orbit One has now been assigned the task of producing the new generation Airsonett Air5.

The Swedish contract manufacturer Orbit One has decided to stop opera­tions in Russia due to develop­ments in Ukraine. Orbit One currently has manufacturing units in Sweden, Poland and Russia.
